Volunteer signup template

Volunteer Sunday should not depend on whoever walks by the clipboard first. This signup template separates roles so greeters, nursery, and teardown fill evenly.

Churches, PTAs, and sports teams all hit the same wall: one role fills instantly while another stays empty. Listing roles separately fixes that faster than a generic “sign up to help” line.

Print this for in-person signups, or move the same roles into EventWarp when half your volunteers reply by text.

Step by step

1

List roles separately

Do not bury nursery under “general volunteers.” Separate lines make gaps obvious.

2

Add shifts guests can claim

In EventWarp, each row becomes a claimable task volunteers can grab from their phone.

3

Pair with your event RSVP

See who is coming and who is serving on the same plan — not in two different tools.

Common questions

Does EventWarp support time-slot grids like SignUpGenius?

Time-slot parity is on the roadmap. Today EventWarp works well for role-based volunteer lists alongside RSVPs. See our comparison page for current gaps.

Can sports teams use this template?

Yes — swap greeters for snack duty or field setup. The pattern is the same: named roles, open slots, one shared link.
